2008 UCEA Executive Assembly
Navigating New Shoals of Continuing Higher Education
September 11-12, 2008
Chicago, IL
How might the economic slowdown, shifting demographics, and rising energy prices affect professional and continuing higher education? And how can we plan ahead? Accountability and outcomes are certain to remain prominent concerns of policymakers and our students. How can we effectively measure our impact? Moving beyond the status quo will be necessary for us if we are to address the needs of our constituents in a resource constrained world. What kinds of collaborations might we develop to maximize our resources? How can we capitalize on online education to better serve existing students and also attract new communities of learners?
