UCEA Awards Programs

Professional Development
UCEA offers an extensive program of conferences and seminars to
meet the professional development needs of the continuing higher
education profession. These include:

UCEA's Annual Conference,
which brings together some 800 continuing higher education
professionals for sessions addressing broad topics of interest
to the profession as well as special sessions and workshops
focused on particular areas of interest, including distance
learning, quality assurance, leadership, marketing, programming
for older adults, and research, to name just a few.

UCEA's Special Seminars
provide an intensive focus on a partucular topic of interest,
such as marketing, workforce development, management, and fundraising.The
annual Summer Institute provides an overall introduction to
the profession with sessions focused on such topics as market
research, curriculum design and faculty development, budgeting,
and emerging trends in the profession.

UCEA's Executive Development offerings include the fall
Executive Assembly for continuing higher education CEOs, the
Deans Institute conducted each year prior to the Annual Conference,
and the Executive Leadership Academy.

UCEA's Regional Conferences,
held each fall by the Association's six Regions, provide opportunities
for continuing higher professionals to gather with other colleagues
from their geographic area and to discuss topics of importance.

UCEA's Professional
Development Modules provide half-day programs with subjects
including curriculum design, student services, basic marketing,
marketing research, and budgeting.
- UCEA's Awards Programs include
Association, Marketing & Publication, Community of Practice, and Regional awards.
Through these awards, UCEA recognizes its members' outstanding
contributions to the Association and the field.
- UCEA also lists Other Professional Meetings offered by other associations.
